Yo! What’s on TV?

If you watched VH1’s I Want to Work for Diddy this week, you know that both Kendra and Boris were eliminated from the competition.  If you remember, it was the same two contestants that were saved when the executive board decided not to eliminate anybody because it was a “week of celebration” when Diddy received his Hollywood star.

I lost respect for the show that episode because it just seemed like a ploy to extend the season another episode by keeping both contestants around.  This time, however, they both didn’t perform well and were elminated from the show.  I really want to like this show, but it’s not as entertaining as it could be.  Plus, the contestants aren’t that great.  There’s not even a clear frontrunner.  Kim is a very sharp, dedicated, and focused woman, but do you really think Diddy would hire somebody that can’t work with others?  And the other 3 remaining candidates don’t seem to have the entire package Diddy is looking for.  I think next weeks episode will show how well the candidates can work under pressure when they go into the Bad Boys office and actually see what they’re made of.

By the way, what the hell was Kim doing when she was doing that age game?!  Sure, they made money but that’s a borderline scam.  Telling people to give her $5 just to play and then when they win they get a freakin $1 I “heart” NY keychain?!  Let’s think about the odds for a minute.  Let’s say there’s a 10 year age range people would normally guess.  If they’re paying $5, the prizes should be worth at least $50 to play.  I guess you can make of money on unsuspecting tourists…
