If you’ve seen Glee’s pilot episode back in May, you’re probably just as excited as me for the season premiere of Glee tomorrow, Wednesday, September 9th, 2009. Here’s Glee’s fall preview so you can see what exactly you have to look forward to!

If I had to choose either Kat or Bianca, I’d pick Kat, but I think Bianca is also a definite hottie. What are your thoughts?
As I correctly predicted yesterday, Randi Evans and Kupono Aweau were the contestants voted off of So You Think You Can Dance leaving the final 8 dancers.
I think Kupono was by far the weakest dancer left in the competition and it definitely showed in his weak solo. Randi is an amazing dancer, but I think it was just her time to get voted off. I think Nigel would say “America got it right this week.”
It was shocking to see Ade in the bottom 2, but when you get down to the top 10, anybody is vulnerable of going home. I think he’s one of the best dancers on the show and hopefully he’ll gain support now that America knows he can go home next week.
Episode Highlights:
Since it’s Derek’s 21st birthday, his ex-boyfriend and brother come to visit Cancun. After Kyle, Derek’s ex-boyfriend goes and hooks up with some guy right in front of Derek, his 15 minutes of fame is over and we don’t see him again.
We also see Joy find a new girl, Jocelyn, and ultimately hooks up with her after he goes on a double date with her along with CJ and Jacqueline. So far he’s on track to sleep with 1 girl a week. But seriously, how hard is it to hook up with 1 girl a week in Cancun when they all know you’re part of the Real World cast. For Christ sakes, somebody who looks like Sanjaya Malakar could do the feat.
Derek also finds somebody to hook up with in Kyle, although he’s part of Student City. Derek also was publically drunk for his birthday. He’s definitely living on the edge and it’s only a matter of time until he gets punished for his actions.
Some of my other thoughts on tonight’s episode:
- Jonna looks incredibly attractive when she’s all done up but when she’s just slummin’ around the house it’s another story. Her hair, boobs, and face look TOTALLY different…
- This season is much more enjoyable without focusing air-time on Ayiiya. Hopefully her future camera time is limited.
- CJ definitely has no game. The things he said on the date were just absurd and any girl would run the other way, even though he has a body of a Greek god.
Favorite Real World Quote:
” CJ maybe he thinks a little too much about the girl instead of, you know, the lay.” - Joey
Now that we’re down to the top 10, the voting is all up to the viewers and the dancers are voted as individuals and not couples. Plus, we have new couples! The couples this week, chosen randomly, were Brandon and Melissa, Randi and Kupono, Evan and Kayla, Jason and Jeanine, and Ade and Janette.
In my opinion, the best routine by far was done by Jason and Jeanine when they took on Travis Wall’s contemporary piece. Jeanine is a gamer and brought her A game as usual. Jason, probably one of the weaker dancers left, left it all on the dance floor to perform this amazing piece. Looking back on this season of So You Think You Can Dance, I can confidently say this piece will be remembered, just like Katee and Joshua’s “No Air” hip-hop routine.
In terms of solos, Brandon killed his first solo and solidified him as a favorite to win the competition. Ade, Jeanine, and Kayla also did strong solos.
Some of my other thoughts on tonight’s episode:
- The funniest part of the night has to be when Jason is performing his solo and an audience member yells out “Take off your shirt!!”
- I always thought Brandon and Kupono were both gay from the get go and now I’m pretty sure they are. When they are preparing for the male’s African dance, Brandon seems to make a comment when the choreographer mentions something about females and Kupono laughs in agreement with Brandon’s thoughts.
- I might be wrong, but it seems the majority of voters are girls, which most likely make the winner one of the male dancers. My front runners are Brandon and Ade.
- Jeanette is definitely a strong dancer, but I think it’s super tough for the dancers who specialize in a dance form requiring partners to excel in solos. This was the case for Maxim and Asuka who already bit the dust.
Predictions:
If I were a betting man, I would bet Kupono and Randi are going home tomorrow.
I’ll leave y’all with the Katee and Joshua’s performance dancing to Jordin Spark’s “No Air.”
What I really enjoy about HBO’s Entourage is how realistic the show seems to be. With that in mind, Vinny goes on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to promote his movie just like in real life. If you haven’t seen the episode, or just want to watch it again, here’s Vincent Chase’s Tonight Show’s premiere. Maybe next season Vinny will get a chance to do The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien!
By now, we’re accustomed to seeing great guest stars on HBO’s Entourage, but season 6 is jam packed with A-listers I’m sure we’ll all enjoy seeing on the show.
The Emmy-winning series will roll out the red carpet for many of Hollywood’s finest this season, including a teen heartthrob and an Oscar-winning actor. The show even has plans for a Super Bowl MVP and an NBA superstar.
Here are some of the highlights:
Matt Damon
Role: The Oscar winner will appear as himself on the show’s Oct. 4 finale, in which he ropes Vince (Adrian Grenier) into making a hefty donation to his charity. Damon will also share a scene with NBA superstar LeBron James.
Zac Efron
Role: Details on Efron’s cameo remain unknown, but the ‘High School Musical’ star is expected to play himself on an upcoming episode, which reportedly features a scene at the Beverly Hills Niketown.
Tom Brady
Role: The Super Bowl MVP will switch sports for an episode, playing himself in a celebrity golf tournament.
David Schwimmer
Role: On Aug. 2, the ‘Friends’ star will stop by Andrew’s (Gary Cole) office for some friendly TV career advice.
Jami Gertz
Role: In a recurring performance, Gertz (’Still Standing’) will play Andrew’s wife, Marlo Klein — or Mrs. Andrew, as fans are sure to call her.
Scott Caan
Role: He’ll play Scotty Lavin, a trash-talking, insecure agent who views E (Kevin Connolly) as a threat. Just wait until he gets a load of Sloan.
50 Cent
Role: In an episode slated to air in August, 50 Cent will follow in the footsteps of rappers Kanye West, T.I. and the rumored Lil Wayne with a cameo apperance.
Autumn Reeser
Role: Best known for playing the bubbly Taylor Townsend on ‘The OC,’ Reeser will join the cast as Lizzy Grant, Miller/Gold’s newest junior agent. So does this mean we’ll soon be hearing screams for “LIZZY!” instead of “LLOYD!”?
William Fichtner
Role: Phil Yagoda, a TV producer who wants Drama (Kevin Dillon) to star in the movie version of his hit ’90s TV series. We take it Vince passed on the role.
Kate Mara
Role: Mara, who played Heath Ledger’s daughter in the Oscar-winning ‘Brokeback Mountain,’ will play E’s new assistant and — based on his track record with women — probable love interest.
After seeing these pictures, all I have to say is Mary-Louise Parker is the hottest 44 year old (almost 45!) that I’ve ever seen.
